Inter-Fab is a leading manufacturer and distributor of outdoor swimming pool accessories, such as diving boards, pool slides, pool rails, and waterfall / fountain accessories. Inter-Fab is headquartered in Tucson, AZ, where it’s primary manufacturing and distribution center also resides (a second, smaller distribution only facility exists in Memphis, TN.)

Inter-Fab purchased Manhattan’s Windows based Warehouse Management System (ILS.net), from Blue Horseshoe, who also performed all of the implementation and integration services. Inter-Fab needed to find a solution that would improve their overall shipping accuracy and streamline the backend pallet building, rating, and documentation requirements. Blue Horseshoe deployed the WMS within the scheduled timeline, conducted all of the setup, training, and testing, and performed all of the necessary integration with Inter-Fab’s host system (MAS).

Inter-Fab has experienced a more efficient and effective solution for their outbound requirements than they even expected. Shipping errors have gone down substantially, and the increased tracking capabilities have provided them with the data necessary to resolve issues in an expedited fashion. Blue Horseshoe’s commitment to getting the WMS implemented on time, and within budget, were huge factors in the success of the project.
